ETHNIC FUSION

  • Beyond the fusion between Flamenco and Arabic-Andalusian music, Mohamed Akel seeks to recreate historically the music played in the Nazari Kingdom of Granada by Spanish-Muslims musicians and their Christian colleagues during musical evenings or “leilas”.
  • A concert guitarist accompanied by both a singer and a dancer are the flamenco team, sharing the spotlight with their Moroccan colleagues playing violins, lute, “darbuka”, “tar”or “qanún accompanied by a belly dancer.
  • This fusion shows us the undeniable relationship between both cultures and musics. In short, 7 artists well-known both in Marroco and Spain.

ARGENTINIAN TANGO AND FLAMENCO FUSION

  • In a world always more virtual and artificial, this dancing show offers imagination, poetry and genuineness. María Serrano & Milton and Romina join together to create a new and very lively language between Flamenco and Argentinian Tango.
  • This show approaches in 12 choreographies to those feelings more common in our modern societies: confusion, disorientation, eradication and fear. By using flamenco and Argentinian Tango languages, these artists feel dancing as a universal expression art.
  • The group is made up by María Serrano (flamenco dancer), Milton & Romina (Argentinian dancing and Tango), a guitarist, piano & drums, bass, violin and a flamenco singer.
  • The performance lasts 50 minutes.
